IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT WE FIGHT TO PROTECT OUR TEENS, YOUNG ADULTS, PRIOR TO DETRIMENT AND A LIFE FULL OF PAIN AND DESPAIR. THE OPTION IS TO BE PRE-ACTIVE AND NOT PROACTIVE.

MASON’S STORY

Mason was a cherished son, brother, cousin, grandson, and nephew, called home far too early at the age of 17.

Though his time with us was brief, he radiated a light—a shining testament of love, humor and joy—that continues to illuminate every heart he encountered. Those that knew him continue to feel his spirit surrounding us daily, comforting our hearts and inspiring us to serve others with the same kindness he showed so naturally.

Mason’s story is not just a memory but a call, a reminder to walk boldly, live life fully, all while staying humble, with a dedication to opening hands and hearts, bringing some beacon of hope to those who desperately need it.

There are Warriors of pain , Darkness, and then light all which keep us aligned to stand even in the toughest storms and find solice giving others the same joy you we experienced through him, a joyous melody of Love, hurt and healing. A type of healing that allows others see the light the same light that glistens on his angelic wings even when God produces the darkest storm. He was our Warrior intertwined within our lives for a short time . God’s plan. May his light guide us all to love more deeply and serve more faithfully so our wings may also glisten in the dark.

We are honored to serve as part of Mason’s Forever 17 Non-For-Profit Legacy Foundation, created in memory of Mason, a kindhearted soul who left this world far too soon. Mason had a heart for those who were struggling, especially teens and young adults in crisis. His compassion continues through this mission, ensuring that love and care are passed forward to those most in need.

At The Caring Shelf, what begins as a humble resale boutique lovingly transforms into powerful resources that fuel healing and hope. One hundred percent of proceeds from our boutique are devoted entirely to providing:

• Compassionate care navigation and outreach guided by God’s grace

• Professional counseling and peer support rooted in faith and understanding

• Essential transportation to safe housing and practical needs that restore stability
